1. Who EverPieces: Train Tracks is for
EverPieces: Train Tracks is a family building companion operated by a parent or responsible adult. The adult selects layouts, manages any full library purchase, and decides whether to photograph a completed build. Children may participate in the physical activity and view the app with the adult.
The app is not intended for children to make purchases, submit photos, or communicate publicly. EverPieces: Train Tracks has no ads, profiles, comments, messages, social feed, or public photo gallery, and it does not require an account.
2. Information we handle
Progress, completion memories, layout photos, piece inventory, preferences, and full library entitlement state are stored on the device in app-private storage. A photo is optional and is never required to complete a build. We do not collect names, emails, birth dates, precise location, Apple Account information, or advertising identifiers.
When anonymous analytics is enabled, the app sends closed product-interaction events, app version, build number, distribution channel, local calendar date, and a random app-local installation identifier. Event fields never include photos, free text, contact information, raw StoreKit payloads, transaction identifiers, or physical inventory counts.
3. Photos and device permissions
Camera access is used only when the adult chooses to photograph a completed track layout. Denying camera access does not prevent browsing or completing builds. Photos remain in app-private device storage unless the adult explicitly saves or shares a copy using the operating system.
EverPieces asks adults to photograph only the build and not include people. EverPieces cannot delete copies already saved to the system photo library or shared with another service.
4. Purchases
Apple processes App Store payments. EverPieces does not receive full payment-card details. We receive transaction status and identifiers needed to unlock or restore the full library purchase, respond to refunds or revocations, and prevent fraud.
The full library is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. It does not renew or expire, can be restored with the same Apple Account, and does not require an EverPieces account.
5. Analytics and advertising
Anonymous product analytics helps us understand whether layouts, build steps, content updates, and purchase flows work. The random installation identifier is not linked to an account, Apple identity, IDFA, IDFV, hardware identifier, or activity in other apps. You can disable analytics or delete analytics data from My Pieces. Deletion clears queued events, replaces the identifier, and requests deletion of hosted Train Tracks events.
Privacy-minimized crash diagnostics may send crash data, sanitized app stack locations, app version, build number, platform, and a closed error category to Sentry. Breadcrumbs, network details, screenshots, view hierarchy, logs, performance traces, profiles, and default personal information are disabled. The app contains no advertising and does not perform cross-app tracking.
6. Service providers
Apple provides the App Store and StoreKit purchase processing. Google Cloud Run and Supabase receive and retain the limited anonymous product analytics described above. Sentry receives the limited crash diagnostics described above. Signed layout updates may be downloaded from Supabase, but the bundled catalog remains available offline. EverPieces does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Retention, deletion, and your choices
Deleting the app removes locally stored progress, piece inventory, photos, preferences, and queued analytics. Hosted Train Tracks analytics expires after 90 days. You can request earlier deletion from My Pieces; if offline, the app saves the request and retries when a connection is available. Crash diagnostics follow Sentry retention configured by EverPieces. There is no EverPieces account to delete. Minimal transaction, refund, restore, and deletion-proof records may be retained only for their stated operational or legal purpose.
Use Restore Purchases in the app with the Apple Account that made the purchase if full library access is missing after reinstalling or changing devices.

Vercel Web Analytics may process the page or route visited, event time, referrer, filtered query parameters, approximate location, browser, operating system, and device type. Vercel states that its Web Analytics data points are anonymous, are not associated with an individual or IP address, do not use third-party cookies, and use a request-derived visitor hash that resets each day. We use Vercel for aggregate page-view analytics.
Website analytics update, September 6, 2026 (campaign labels added October 17, 2026): If you choose Allow analytics, we also load Google Analytics 4 to measure public page visits and App Store button clicks. These events include the product, button placement, and page path. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies with pseudonymous browser identifiers, set to expire after 60 days, and processes technical information such as browser, device, and approximate location. Our events exclude URL query strings and fragments, except that when you arrive through a link we published, the first page visit includes that link's campaign labels (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, and utm_content). App Store buttons may add a campaign token that names the link or website you came from, so App Store Connect can count downloads by campaign; it does not identify you and is added whether or not you allow analytics. We do not send names, email addresses, child profiles, photos, or app account identifiers, and do not enable Google signals or advertising personalization.
Google Analytics does not load before you allow it. You can decline without losing access to the website, or change your choice through Analytics preferences in the footer. Declining stops further Google Analytics collection and removes its cookies on this website; it does not delete data already collected by Google. We store your preference in your browser. This optional website measurement is separate from analytics inside our apps, and an App Store button click is not proof of an app download or purchase. Google processes analytics data under its privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
