EverPieces: Magnetic Tiles is designed for parents and responsible adults. We build around a simple default: family photos stay on the device unless the adult deliberately chooses a clearly explained cloud feature.

Applies to EverPieces: Magnetic TilesEffective August 29, 2026Version 1.4

1. Who EverPieces: Magnetic Tiles is for

EverPieces: Magnetic Tiles is a family creativity companion operated by a parent or responsible adult. The adult selects builds, manages the account and purchases, controls permissions and photos, and decides whether to use optional cloud features. Children may participate in the physical activity and view the app with the adult.

The app is not intended for children to create accounts, make purchases, independently submit photos, or communicate publicly. EverPieces has no ads, public profiles, comments, messages, social feed, or public photo gallery.

2. Information we handle

On your device

Guest progress, completion memories, original build photos, generated art, preferences, and temporary export files can be stored locally. A photo is optional and is never required to complete a build. We do not use face recognition or collect child names or exact birth dates.

When you sign in

If the adult chooses Sign in with Apple to create or use an EverPieces account, we receive an Apple account identifier and, only when Apple provides it, a name or relay email. We use the EverPieces account for cloud sync, AI and private gallery features, the repeatable AI Creations allowance, account settings and deletion, and activating account-bound World benefits. Paid Worlds can be purchased and restored as a Guest with the correct Apple Account, without an EverPieces account. Original build photos are excluded from ordinary cloud sync.

Product records

We may store progress, badges, preferences, purchase entitlements, consent decisions, job status, support correspondence, and limited technical records needed for reliability, security, and fraud prevention. Before sign-in, we may also store a one-way hash of a random installation identifier with the limited product-interaction events described below.

3. Photos and device permissions

Camera access is used only when the adult chooses to photograph a physical build. Photo-library access is used when the adult selects a build photo or saves generated art. Notifications are optional and used for chosen build reminders. Denying a permission does not prevent browsing or completing builds.

EverPieces asks adults to photograph only the build and not include people. Original photos remain in app-private device storage unless the adult explicitly saves or shares a copy using the operating system.

4. Analytics

In Guest mode, first-party product analytics is enabled by default. EverPieces creates a random installation identifier that is not an Apple account identifier, advertising identifier, hardware identifier, or Supabase user. Guest analytics covers opening the app, World, model, and Store; starting and completing builds; bounded completion-save failures; Store product-load outcome and duration; purchase tap, StoreKit handoff, payment-sheet evidence when available, purchase outcome and closed error code; restore outcome; app version, build number, distribution channel; stable content or product identifiers; repeat status; event and session identifiers; timestamps; and the device's local calendar date. EverPieces hashes the random identifier before storing events and does not join Guest analytics to a later account.

A Guest can disable analytics at any time in Settings. Disabling stops future collection, clears the queued events, rotates the random identifier, and asks the service to delete raw events for the prior identifier. Raw Guest analytics events expire within 90 days. For signed-in accounts, first-party analytics remains a separate optional setting.

Analytics never includes photos, child information, name, email, account or family identifiers in Guest mode, precise location, locale, raw AI output, device file paths, free-form text, advertising identifiers, or cross-app tracking data. EverPieces does not currently use GA4 or advertising analytics.

Crash diagnostics

EverPieces uses Sentry only for rigorously sanitized unhandled JavaScript exceptions, an explicit allowlist of application failures, and native crash reports required for durable post-crash delivery. These diagnostics are not used for advertising or tracking and are not linked to an account or installation identifier. JavaScript reports are rebuilt from a strict allowlist and can include only the app version, build number, trusted operating-system information, constrained JavaScript frames, and a closed EverPieces error code. Native crash reports retain only the standard crash stack and thread plus bounded app, operating-system, release, and distribution context needed for symbolication. Reports do not include photos, purchase identifiers, AI content, or free-form text. We configure the shortest available diagnostics retention and restrict access to the people responsible for app reliability.

5. Purchases

Apple processes App Store payments. EverPieces does not receive full payment-card details. We receive transaction status and identifiers needed to unlock purchased Worlds, restore purchases, respond to refunds, prevent fraud, and maintain a minimal commerce record after account deletion where necessary for those purposes.

6. Optional AI photo processing

AI art is optional and adult-requested. EverPieces uses the Google Gemini Developer API to create a private art result from a temporary copy of a build photo.

AI art is an adult action in a labeled parent area and requires Sign in with Apple. Before any photo bytes leave the device, EverPieces names Google Gemini and explains the purpose, metadata removal, provider-managed processing, training and human-review or safety exceptions, retention, deletion, and how to withdraw consent. The adult must make a separate affirmative choice; AI build feedback is not included in version 1.

EverPieces sends a compressed, metadata-stripped temporary derivative rather than the original. Temporary EverPieces copies are deleted when processing ends, with a monitored 24-hour hard fallback. Generated results remain private to the signed-in account until account deletion; an App-private cached copy can be erased locally. Declining or revoking AI does not remove local play, photos, progress, purchases, or restore.

7. Sharing and service providers

We use service providers only to operate requested features. Examples include Apple for authentication and commerce, and Google Cloud for the EverPieces API, and Supabase for product data, account data, cloud sync, and first-party analytics. We limit providers to the information needed for those services and apply the choices described in this policy.

EverPieces does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. When an adult explicitly saves or shares a generated image through the operating system, the selected destination controls the external copy.

8. Retention, deletion, and your choices

We keep product data only as long as needed to provide the feature, protect the service, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations. Account deletion removes account-bound product data, subject to the limited commerce and deletion-proof records described below.

The adult can disable Guest or account analytics, revoke optional AI permissions, export supported product data, and request account deletion from Settings. Erase local data first attempts to delete analytics associated with the current random Guest identifier. Account deletion removes the authentication account, family, progress, badges, preferences, analytics, sync state, and entitlement projections after deletion processing completes. Minimal transaction, refund, restore, and deletion-proof records may be isolated and retained only for their stated operational or legal purpose.

Device-private photos and generated art can be erased from the app/device. Copies previously saved to the system photo library or shared with another service remain under the adult's control and cannot be silently removed by EverPieces.

9. Security and international use

We use access controls, encryption in transit, private storage, data minimization, and logging rules intended to keep photos out of logs, analytics, support exports, and dead-letter records. No service is completely secure, but we work to reduce the amount of personal information we handle and restrict access to it.

Our Supabase production project is hosted in the United States. Apple and other operating-system services may process information in other regions under their own terms and privacy policies.

About this website

EverPieces.com uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and improve public pages. This website analytics is separate from the product analytics described elsewhere in this policy.

Vercel Web Analytics may process the page or route visited, event time, referrer, filtered query parameters, approximate location, browser, operating system, and device type. Vercel states that its Web Analytics data points are anonymous, are not associated with an individual or IP address, do not use third-party cookies, and use a request-derived visitor hash that resets each day. We use Vercel for aggregate page-view analytics.

Website analytics update, September 6, 2026: If you choose Allow analytics, we also load Google Analytics 4 to measure public page visits and App Store button clicks. These events include the product, button placement, and page path. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies with pseudonymous browser identifiers, set to expire after 60 days, and processes technical information such as browser, device, and approximate location. Our events exclude URL query strings and fragments. We do not send names, email addresses, child profiles, photos, or app account identifiers, and do not enable Google signals or advertising personalization.

Google Analytics does not load before you allow it. You can decline without losing access to the website, or change your choice through Analytics preferences in the footer. Declining stops further Google Analytics collection and removes its cookies on this website; it does not delete data already collected by Google. We store your preference in your browser. This optional website measurement is separate from analytics inside our apps, and an App Store button click is not proof of an app download or purchase. Google processes analytics data under its privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
